The plant forms a rosette of fleshy leaves on a sturdy stem, reaching a height of 1 to 1.5 meters. The leaves have an elongated shape, a wrinkled texture, and a dark green color with a bluish tint.

The variety is mid-season, with a maturation period of 53–65 days. The plant withstands temperatures down to –18 °C, with frosts contributing to an improvement in the flavor qualities of the leaves.
