The variety is a bush about 70 cm tall with a strong framework that does not require staking. The growing period is 130–140 days in a greenhouse, increasing by 15–20 days in open field conditions. The plant is characterized by good fruit set and tolerates cold shock, including frosts down to –4 °C.
The pungency of the fruits ranges from 1000 to 10 000 Scoville heat units. Fruit weight is 20–30 g (in some cases up to 50 g) with a length of 5–9 cm. During maturation, the color changes from green to red; characteristic cracks may appear on the skin. The flavor is described as mildly spicy, with a sour note.
The variety is versatile and suitable for fresh consumption, stuffing, and pickling in slices.
