The variety belongs to short plants; the bush height is 35–40 cm. The fruits have a smooth surface, a closed blossom end, and a wall thickness of 3–4 mm. The average weight of one fruit varies from 4 to 7 grams.
The plant possesses a strong root system, due to which it is used not only for harvesting in fresh or processed form but also as rootstock for grafting other pepper varieties. The variety is traditionally used in cooking, including for the production of hot ground seasonings.
