The variety belongs to the paprika group and is the result of breeding for resistance to bacterial spot (Xanthomonas vesicatoria) using the Bs-2 gene. Plants reach a height of 40–60 cm, have a compact habit, and dense foliage.
The fruits have an elongated shape, 10–12 cm long, are pendent, and turn an intense dark red color upon ripening. The variety is characterized by uniform ripening, good stress tolerance, and suitability for organic farming.
The intended use of the variety is for the production of powdered seasonings. The fruits are suitable for drying after a period of post-harvest ripening. Cultivation is possible both by transplanting and by direct seeding into the soil.
