Trees of the variety have a height of 10 to 20 meters with a very wide crown and often non-straight trunks. The plants are distinguished by medium vigor. The harvest is collected manually during October.
The nuts have a reddish-brown color with dark stripes and a flattened apex. The kernel is white or light yellow in color and possesses a crunchy texture. The variety is used both fresh and for the production of confectionery products, including glazed chestnuts.
