The tree is of medium height, forming a long trunk with high-positioned branches. The variety is characterized by early bud break, which makes the plant vulnerable to spring frosts, and sensitivity to soil moisture stagnation. Vegetative propagation of the variety proceeds easily.

The fruits ripen mid-season, have a triangular shape and a dark red color. The nuts store well, are easy to peel, and the percentage of pericarp cracking is less than five percent. Fruiting on grafted trees begins at the age of four to five years, with male catkins being sterile.

The plant possesses root resistance to ink disease and is also resistant to rust, mosaic virus, and chestnut blight. The variety has low susceptibility to leaf miners but demonstrates high sensitivity to the oriental chestnut gall wasp and codling moth.
