The variety Précoce ronde des Vans, also known as Précoce des Vans, Sardounencho, Vivaraise, and Preminche, is a local French variety. The fruits belong to the 'marron' group, characterized by minimal separation of cotyledons by septa, which is valuable for culinary use.

The fruits are small or medium-sized, elliptical in shape, and dark brown in color with stripes, whereby the peel color can penetrate the kernel. The tree has moderate vigor. The variety matures early, approximately in mid-September.

The plant is cross-pollinated; planting several pollinator varieties that bloom at the same time is recommended for yield. The variety is grown in regions with acidic soils.
