The shrub is characterized by a spreading crown and reaches a height of 4–5 meters. The variety is an old one, used in the early 20th century in hazelnut hybridization breeding programs.
The fruits are large, brown in color, and have a round, slightly flattened shape. Harvesting takes place in the first half of September. The plant is capable of withstanding temperatures down to -25°C, however, the variety is susceptible to eastern filbert blight.
