Merveille de Bollwiller
ActiveCorylus avellana L. · Common hazel
WEISSMANN (FR)
10 August 2026
The plant has medium growth vigor and produces a moderate number of basal shoots, which allows it to be trained as a single-stemmed tree for the convenience of mechanization. The variety is early-bearing and belongs to the protogynous flowering type.
The fruits have a round, slightly flattened shape and a thin shell. To obtain stable high yields, the variety requires cross-pollination, therefore joint planting with pollinator varieties such as Romavel, TGDL or Uriașe de Halle is recommended.
