The tree reaches 4–6 meters in height and forms a dense spreading or rounded crown. It blooms in April-May with white or pale pink flowers. Due to the heavy weight of the fruits, the tree branches may bend and take on a drooping shape.

The fruits, weighing 500–600 g, have a bright yellow color and a slightly ribbed pear shape. The dense light-yellow flesh has a strong aroma. A mid-season variety, the crop is harvested from mid-October to November.

The plant is frost-hardy, withstands temperature drops down to -25°C, and possesses good resistance to diseases and drought. The variety is self-fertile, prefers sunny sites and nutrient-rich soils, and is suitable for urban landscaping.
