Cydora Robusta
ActiveCydonia oblonga Mill. · Quince
10 August 2026
The fruits of the variety exceed the size of apple-shaped quince fruits by one third. The tree has a vigorous growth type and high yield, due to which the variety was valued as a market crop.
The plant is less winter-hardy compared to a number of other quince varieties. Information about the variety is primarily reflected in agricultural catalogs and publications of the late XIX — early XX centuries.
