The tree or large shrub reaches a height of 3–5 meters and possesses a spreading, flattened crown. The fruits have a pear-like shape and a lumpy surface. Their intensely yellow skin is covered with pubescence. The average fruit weight is 200–300 g, although individual specimens can reach a mass of up to 1 kg.
The variety belongs to the late-maturing category; harvesting begins in October. The plant is characterized by winter hardiness and good resistance to powdery mildew and fire blight. The variety is self-fertile and productive. The light yellow flesh of the fruit has a sweet-and-sour taste and is juicier and softer than that of many other varieties.
The fruits are primarily used for processing into jams, jellies, marmalades, and juices. Due to its abundant flowering with large pink-and-white flowers and the architectural shape of the crown, the tree is also frequently planted as a decorative garden element.
