Sigwa 3 is a clonal quince rootstock intended for use as a rootstock for pear, rather than for the production of quince fruit. The plant was developed during breeding work in Poland.
In studies using this rootstock for growing the Conference pear variety, production efficiency indicators were comparable to other well-known rootstocks, while a significantly greater mass of pear fruit was noted.
