The variety is a compact, upright shrub. Plant height after three years is up to 20 cm with a width of up to 35 cm, although mature specimens can reach 30–50 cm in height. The foliage is evergreen, bright green or medium green in color; leaves are relatively broad and whorled.
Flowers are white, bell-shaped, and relatively large for the species. Inflorescences are loose, with flowers arranged in axillary clusters of 1–3; the corolla apex often has uneven splitting. The flowering period occurs between January and April.
The plant is winter hardy, prefers well-drained substrates, and adapts to moderately alkaline soils. Annual pruning after flowering is required to maintain compactness and prevent bare branches. It is used as a honey plant, as well as in landscape design and container gardening.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
