Variety description

The variety is an evergreen dwarf shrub with a low, spreading, and compact habit. The plant height is 10–30 cm, and the bush diameter reaches 30–50 cm. The leaves are small, needle-like, alternate, and colored medium-green or grayish-green.

Flowering is prolonged, starting in November or December and continuing until April. The flowers are tubular or bell-shaped, colored in shades ranging from pink to purple-red, with the shade potentially changing during the flowering process. The plant possesses good winter hardiness.

The variety is used as a ground cover plant, suitable for heather and rock gardens, alpine slides, cultivation in containers and balcony boxes, as well as for grave site decoration. The flowers attract bees and bumblebees.
