Variety description

The variety is a compact bushy low-growing shrub with a spreading or ascending habit. The plant reaches 10–15 cm in height and 20–35 cm in width. The foliage is dark green, needle-like, and may acquire a bronze tint in winter.
Flowering is profuse; the flowers are dark pink or deep purple-pink in color. The variety is early-flowering, with a flowering period lasting from February to April.
It prefers sunny spots or partial shade and acidic, well-drained soils; it does not tolerate waterlogging. The variety is winter-hardy and resistant to urban conditions. Light pruning after the end of flowering is recommended to maintain a compact form.
