Variety description

The variety has a compact bush form, reaching a height of about 15 cm with a diameter of about 25 cm in two-year-old plants. The foliage is colored dark green.
The flowers are of a cherry-red shade (corresponds to H6 in the color classification). The flowering period of the plant occurs from February to April, sometimes continuing until May.
The plant possesses high winter hardiness, corresponding to USDA zones 5–6. It is used as a decorative element in heather gardens, borders, rock gardens, as well as for cultivation in containers and as a ground cover plant.
