The variety is intended for the creation of turf cover. Research confirms the presence of endophytes—symbiotic fungi that improve resistance to pests—as well as the ability to withstand Rhizoctonia at the level of other commercial varieties.

The plant possesses a deep root system, which provides it with drought tolerance. In the market, the variety is also encountered under the name Stetson II.
