The variety is a perennial grass with high productivity. The plant tolerates drought conditions and high temperatures well. In agricultural practice, it is often used in multicomponent mixtures with legumes and other grasses to establish pastures and hayfields.

The variety is known for its stable dry matter yield in field trials. In forage mixtures, the variety is combined with soft-leaf fescue forms to improve palatability for livestock.
