Trees on this rootstock possess good vigor, reaching sizes comparable to the 'Troyer' rootstock, but have a less dense canopy. Yields when using C-32 as a rootstock can be moderate or low.

The plant exhibits relative tolerance to citrus tristeza virus, Phytophthora, and citrus nematode. One of its features is the formation of nucellar seedlings, which promotes progeny uniformity; however, the variety produces few seeds, which complicates the production of large volumes of planting material.
