The trees of the variety are characterized by vigorous growth. The variety possesses high cold tolerance and resistance to citrus tristeza virus, Phytophthora, and citrus nematodes, but is sensitive to exocortis. The plant tolerates high-pH soils, heavy clay soils, excess moisture, and high chlorine content poorly.

The fruits are yellow in color, pear-shaped or round, with an average weight of about 124 g. Due to their sour and tart taste, they are practically not used for food. When used as a rootstock, the variety ensures high quality of fruit for scion cultivars, but has limitations regarding compatibility with certain lemon and mandarin varieties.
