Variety description

Compact deciduous shrub from 0.8 to 1.5 meters in height. Leaves are glossy, dark green, with serrated edges. Lacecap-type inflorescences consist of double pure-white sterile flowers on long pedicels and small fertile flowers in the center.

The plant blooms in summer; reblooming is possible if faded inflorescences are removed. Prefers partial shade and moderately moist, well-drained acidic soils. Characterized by good winter hardiness, corresponding to USDA zones 5a–9b.
