Variety description

Vigorous upright shrub, reaching a height of up to 2 meters at ten years of age. The leaves are narrow-oval or ovate in shape, with a pointed tip and a serrated edge; they often acquire a reddish hue in the autumn period.

Inflorescences are corymbose, consisting of lilac fertile and sterile marginal flowers. Flowering is prolonged, covering the period from June to October. The plant is characterized as winter-hardy, however, it may be susceptible to powdery mildew. Used in landscape design for single and group plantings.
