The shrub has a compact shape, reaching 60–80 cm in height and width. Leaves are dark green, oval, with a finely serrated edge, turning yellow, red, or brown in autumn. Inflorescences are flat, umbellate. Large sterile flowers are fully double, pure white with a green or yellowish center; edges may turn red towards the end of the season.
Flowering is prolonged, from June to September, due to the formation of new inflorescences covering the faded ones. The plant prefers partial shade or sunny areas, moist, drained soils with an acidic or neutral reaction. The variety is winter hardy for zones 5b–6b, suitable for gardens, flower beds, and container cultivation.
