Variety description

The variety is variegated; the leaves have cream or yellow spots and edges. The plant forms flat lacecap-type inflorescences, the flowers of which change color from white to red during the flowering process. The height of the bush 10 years after planting is from 125 to 150 cm, although specimens about 50 cm high occur, depending on growing conditions.

The flowering period is June-July. The plant is characterized as winter hardy. The variety is valued for the decorative quality of its foliage and is used in landscape gardening, as well as in bonsai culture. It is a spontaneous mutation and is rarely found in collections.
