The shrub is characterized as a compact plant with foliage having a serrated margin. The lacecap-type inflorescences are flat, corymbose structures consisting of small central fertile flowers and larger sterile flowers surrounding them. A distinctive feature of the variety is the sterile flowers with deeply serrated sepals.
The inflorescence color is initially white; however, as they fade, they acquire a cherry-red hue. Flowering occurs from July to September. The plant prefers partial shade, areas protected from the wind, and moist, fertile, well-drained soils. Due to its compactness, the variety is suitable for cultivation in containers and small gardens.
