The variety is a deciduous shrub with lacecap-type inflorescences that have a flat corymbose shape. Small fertile white-pink flowers are located in the center of the inflorescence, framed by sterile flowers along the periphery.
A characteristic feature is the process of color change in the sterile flowers: upon opening, they have a pure white color, but within 2–3 weeks they gradually turn red, starting from the edges of the sepals. The plant's flowering period occurs in June–July.
