The plant is a deciduous spreading shrub with a height of 1 to 1.5 meters. The leaves are ovate with a pointed tip and a serrated edge; they may turn burgundy in the fall. The shoots are straight and strong.
Lacecap-type inflorescences consist of small fertile flowers in the center and large sterile flowers on the edges. At the beginning of flowering, the petals are white, later becoming pink or crimson; when grown on acidic soils, the appearance of blue shades is possible. The variety is characterized by early and long-lasting flowering from June to September.
The plant possesses high winter hardiness (down to -24°C...-26°C), however, in cold regions, covering is recommended to ensure stable flowering. The variety is suitable for single and group plantings, small garden landscaping, and container cultivation.
