The variety forms a dense head weighing approximately 250–300 g. Leaves are smooth, broadly rounded, medium-green in color with a glossy surface.

The plant belongs to the winter group, possesses winter hardiness and a late bolting date. When grown, a tendency to form side shoots is observed.

The variety is traditionally used as a source of genetic traits for leaf thickness in the breeding of varieties intended for winter cultivation.
