The variety is triploid, which results in low pollen quality, requiring other pollinator varieties for fruiting. The tree is characterized by very vigorous, strong growth, reaching a height of 4.5–6 meters. Bearing can be biennial, and the onset of fruiting occurs relatively late.

Fruits are large, round-conical in shape, often with uneven surfaces, a yellow-green ground color, and russeting. The flesh is yellowish, juicy, firm, coarse-grained, with high acid and vitamin C content. During storage, the flavor of the fruit becomes more intense, spicy, and sweet.

The variety is well-adapted to cool, humid climates and cultivation at high altitudes. It has low susceptibility to canker, scab, and skin browning, and shows high resistance to fire blight, although it can be affected by core rot.
