The tree is vigorous, long-lived, with a broad rounded crown and upright scaffold branches. The variety is demanding of growing conditions; in case of soil moisture deficit, it is prone to premature fruit drop. It is characterized by alternate bearing and may require crop load management.

Fruits are medium to large in size, conical or flattened-conical in shape. The skin is smooth, straw-yellow at harvest, and becomes golden-yellow during storage with a possible orange-red blush. The flesh is yellowish-white, fine-grained, juicy, and high in sugar content.

Harvesting takes place in mid-October. The storage life of the fruits under cold conditions is about four months. The variety is suitable for culinary processing and the production of juices or cider.
