The tree of this variety is characterized by very vigorous growth, longevity, and forms a large, broadly rounded crown with spreading, drooping branches. The variety is triploid, which results in low-quality pollen, making the presence of pollinator varieties mandatory to ensure fruiting.

The fruits are medium to large in size, flat-round or conical in shape, with smooth skin that changes color from greenish-yellow to golden-yellow upon ripening. The flesh is yellowish-white, fine-grained, juicy, with a wine-sweet spicy flavor.

The fruits reach harvest maturity in mid-October; consumer maturity lasts from December to March. The variety shows susceptibility to fruit spotting on light sandy soils and is sensitive to frost when groundwater levels are high, and ripe fruits are prone to dropping.
