The variety has the official breeding name vrds 0401 and is known in the commercial environment under the trademark Rembrandt®. Apple fruits are characterized by a flat shape and a small or medium size.

In scientific studies devoted to the analysis of fruit composition, the variety is mentioned as an object with a low content of ascorbic acid in the pulp, amounting to about 0.1 mg per 100 g of product.
