The tree is characterized by winter hardiness, early onset of fruiting, and compact size. The variety is known under a number of synonyms, including Borovinka, Kharlamovskoye, and Duchess of Oldenburg.

The fruits have a cylindrical shape, slightly flattened at the poles. The primary skin color is light green or yellowish, supplemented by a pink tint or red stripes. The flesh is firm, crisp, and juicy. Fruit keeping quality is 1–2 months.
