The variety is a bud mutation of the Starking Delicious variety. The tree belongs to the spur-type of bearing. Fruits are characterized by lower weight compared to other strains of the group, high firmness, and increased soluble solids content at harvest and after storage.

Trees of the variety are sensitive to low temperatures. There is evidence of susceptibility to the apple star crack agent, which causes fruit cracking and tree weakening. Under research conditions, harvesting was carried out in mid-October.
