The tree reaches 3–4 meters in height and has an upright-spreading crown, which becomes broadly rounded and drooping with age. The variety is diploid, self-incompatible, and prone to biennial bearing, requiring the presence of pollinators.
Fruits are medium-sized, oblate, yellowish-green in color with an intense dark red or purple blush and sometimes a bluish bloom. The flesh is cream-colored, juicy, fine-grained, with a sweet taste and slight acidity. The variety belongs to winter hardiness zone 6 and is characterized by moderate resistance to diseases, including scab.
The harvest is collected in mid-to-late September. The fruits are suitable for storage in cold conditions for up to two months, after which the flesh may acquire a mealy consistency.
