Jonagold 2381 is not a separate variety, but a clone of the Jonagold apple variety, obtained by crossing Jonathan and Golden Delicious. Its morphological characteristics correspond to the base variety, with the exception of coloration features.

The tree is vigorous, reaching 4–4.5 m in height; the crown of mature plants is spherical. The fruits are large, weighing 160–170 g, characterized by firm flesh, juiciness, and a sweet-and-sour taste. The variety has moderate resistance to scab and low resistance to powdery mildew.

The variety is classified as late-winter; fruit harvesting occurs in late September — October. The fruits are distinguished by high keeping quality and transportability. Due to triploidy, pollinator varieties such as Idared, Gloster, Champion, or Elstar are necessary to ensure yield.
