The variety is a mutation of the Jonagold apple. The tree is medium-sized, 3–4 meters in height, with a spherical dense crown. It enters into fruiting in the 2–3rd year after planting. The variety is a triploid, does not serve as a pollinator, and requires the presence of pollinator varieties to ensure yield.

Fruits are large, with a mass of 170–220 g, round, and uniform in size. The coloring is characterized by an intense dark red washed-out blush on a greenish-yellow background. The flesh is yellow, juicy, firm, with a harmonious sweet-and-sour taste. Harvest maturity occurs in late September, consumer maturity in January.

The variety possesses high transportability. The fruit storage life is 4–5 months in a cellar and up to 7 months in a refrigerator. Resistance to scab is rated as medium, to powdery mildew as low.
