The variety is a mutation of the American Jonagold apple tree, obtained as a result of crossing the Jonathan and Golden Delicious varieties. Trees are characterized by high growth vigor and require crown formation. The variety shows susceptibility to scab and powdery mildew.

Fruits are large, weighing 180–200 g, covered with a bright raspberry-red blush over almost the entire surface. The flesh is juicy, firm, cream-colored, with a sweet-sour taste and a pronounced aroma. The fruits have good keeping quality and are suitable for fresh consumption and processing.

Harvesting is carried out at the end of September – beginning of October. The variety is triploid, therefore it is sterile and requires the presence of other pollinator varieties for fruit set.
