The variety is a bud mutation of the Jonathan apple tree. The trees are characterized as medium-sized, with a broadly rounded canopy of medium density. The variety is insufficiently winter-hardy and is recommended primarily for southern regions.

The fruits are of medium size, weighing up to 180 g, flat-round or round-conical in shape with noticeable ribs. The primary color of the skin is yellowish-green, almost completely covered with a dark carmine blush. The flesh is yellowish-white, firm and juicy, with a dessert sweet-and-sour taste.

The variety belongs to the late-winter category; fruit ripening occurs in mid-September. The variety has good transportability, is susceptible to powdery mildew, but shows relative resistance to scab.
