The tree is vigorous with a wide conical crown and branches growing steeply upwards. The variety is distinguished by very high winter hardiness, suitable for cultivation in harsh northern conditions, and a medium to good level of resistance to scab and fruit rot.

The fruits are medium or slightly less than medium in size, weighing 70–90 g, with a flat-round shape. The primary skin color is greenish-yellow with dark red stripes. The yellowish flesh is firm, fine-grained, and moderately juicy; the taste is sweet-sour with a distinct spicy "cinnamon" aroma.

The variety belongs to the late-summer or autumn group, ripening after mid-September. The fruit storage period ranges from 4 weeks to 2 months. It enters the fruiting period later than modern varieties, after which it produces abundant yields. It is used as a table variety and a pollinator for other apple trees.
