The tree of this variety is characterized by very vigorous growth, reaches a great height, and forms a broad crown. The variety is triploid, and its fruits ripen at the end of August.

The fruits are medium to large in size, characterized by an irregular, flattened-round shape with ribbing at the calyx. The skin is golden-yellow with short carmine-red stripes. When fully ripe, the flesh can become mealy; the fruits possess a characteristic aroma reminiscent of strawberries, raspberries, or flowers, and a sweet-sour taste.

The variety is susceptible to scab and is a classic representative of traditional varieties common in the region.
