The Batul-alma variety originates from the Transylvania region and is considered autochthonous to Hungarian and Romanian horticultural traditions. The tree is characterized by medium vigor or moderate energy, although it may exhibit weak growth in the nursery.
The fruits are of medium size and round-flat in shape. The skin color is yellow with an orange blush. The flesh is white, has a fine, crisp texture, and a sweet or sweet-sour taste. The harvest is collected in mid-October.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
