The variety is a winter type, with the period of consumer maturity for the fruits occurring from December to March. The fruits have an obtusely conical shape, the ground color is greenish-yellow, and a reddish blush is possible on the sunny side. The flesh is characterized by juiciness and a loose texture, with a wine-acid flavor with a hint of bitterness.

The tree is noted for the hardiness characteristic of old varieties and is often grown as a standard tree. The variety is versatile: it is suitable for fresh consumption, culinary processing, and the preparation of beverages, compotes, and mousses. It prefers deep, nutritious, and moderately moist soils.
