The tree forms a broadly rounded or wide-spreading crown, reaching 6 meters in height and about 5 meters in width. Flowering occurs in April-May; the flowers are white, cup-shaped, and develop from pink buds.
The fruits belong to the winter ripening period and are distinguished by a ribbed shape. Due to their aroma and taste qualities, they are used both fresh and for culinary processing, including the preparation of juices, jams, and baked goods.
