The variety is a winter one, reaching harvest maturity in October and consumption maturity by December; fruits can be stored until June. The tree is robust, grows vigorously at a young age, and forms an upright and moderately dense crown. The variety is undemanding and well-adapted to extreme conditions; fruits are firmly attached to the branches.

The fruits are medium-sized and have a round or elongated-round shape. The skin is smooth, shiny, and firm; the ground color is yellow, almost completely covered by a dark red blush and stripes. The flesh is yellowish-white, sometimes with a reddish tint, firm, fine-grained, and juicy. The taste is characterized as vinous, sweet-and-sour.
