The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and a spreading crown, reaching a height of 4–6 meters. The fruits are small to medium in size, round, slightly angular in shape, and have smooth shiny skin of a green color with an intense red blush, purple stripes, and light lenticels. The flesh is firm and juicy, acidic at harvest, but acquires sweetness during storage.

The variety is late-maturing: fruit harvest is carried out from October–December, with consumption maturity maintained until April. The plant is characterized by high and regular, yet alternate-bearing, yield. The variety possesses winter hardiness and resistance to apple tree canker, but is highly susceptible to scab. Care requires vigorous pruning of the crown to prevent damage to branches from the weight of the crop.

The main purpose of the fruits is processing; the variety is considered one of the best for cider production, as the juice yield is 60–70%. After long-term storage, the fruits become suitable for fresh consumption or use in compotes.
