The variety belongs to the group of ancient folk apples, known since the 12th century under various regional names. The plant forms a vigorous, long-lived, and hardy tree with high winter hardiness, suitable for traditional orchards and the restoration of cultural landscapes.

The medium-sized fruits have a flat-round shape. The skin is smooth, yellowish in color with a red diffused blush or stripes. The flesh of the fruit is juicy, sweet-and-sour with a characteristic wine-like flavor.

The variety is considered a versatile utility apple, suitable for baking, cooking, and the production of juice or cider. The fruits possess exceptional storage capacity, maintaining their consumer qualities from October until May or June.
