Variety description

Trees are medium-sized or undersized with a spreading, spherical crown. Fruits are small or medium-sized, weighing 150–200 g, and have a round or round-conical shape. The skin is yellow-green with an orange-red blush; the flesh is firm and crisp.

Harvest maturity occurs in late September to early October. The variety is self-infertile and requires the presence of pollinators. The fruits are suitable for long-term storage, however, the tree is prone to biennial bearing when overloaded with a crop.

The variety is characterized by moderate resistance to major diseases and has increased susceptibility to scab, cancer, and moniliosis in humid climate conditions. There is a clone, Rubinette Rosso, which is distinguished by a more intense red fruit coloration.
