The variety is historical and widely distributed in the Baltic region under various synonyms, including "Osenneye polosatoye" and "Liflyandsky Gravenshteyn". Fruits are large in size, yellowish in color with red stripes, have a sweet-and-sour taste and firm juicy flesh.

The variety belongs to the autumn maturity group and is distinguished by high winter hardiness, as well as medium or above-average resistance to scab. Fruits are used fresh, for processing into juices, compotes, drying, and cider production.
